School Meals

In September 2016 Mellors Catering were the sucessfull bidders for the school's catering contract. Our new school catering manager Angela King is an experienced school cook and has been with Mellors for 20 years.

Mellors Catering Services is an established, family-run contract catering company that is growing year-on-year. 2016 was their 21st year of successful trading.

Mellors Catering Services offer a bespoke service and we will work with Mellors to develop tailored menus to meet the tastes and dietary requirements of all our pupils. They operate 330 catering contracts in education and business sites across the North of England and are committed to delivering an exciting choice of food that doesn't cost the earth.

They use only the finest, freshest ingredients from local suppliers including our own school garden which means better quality food.

Please see below for an example of the three week rolling menu. In addition to the menu below we always have a selection of cold sandwiches available each day and self serve salad bar. A dessert of the day is available along with yoghurt, crackers, biscuits and fresh fruit which the children are free to choose. All meals should be pre-booked so that your child receives their choice and this allows us to reduce waste and keep the prices low.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WHILST WE WILL ALWAYS ENDEAVOUR TO STICK TO THE MENUS PUBLISHED ON PARENTPAY THERE ARE SOME DAYS, DUE TO DELIVERY SHORTAGES, SEASONAL VARIATIONS AND UNAVAILABILITY OF ITEMS AT OUR SUPPLIERS WHEN SUBSTITUTIONS WILL HAVE TO BE MADE AT SHORT NOTICE. WHEN THIS HAPPENS AN ALTERNATIVE PRODUCT WILL BE OFFERED TO YOUR CHILD.

Paying for School Meals

We have teamed up with an on-line supplier PARENTPAY to give parent/carers the convenience and ability to pay for school meals and other items online with a credit card or debit card, or in cash at local stores where you see the PayPoint logo. Click on the ParentPay Logo to LOGIN.
