Here is an example of part of our phonics lesson. In this video, you will see the children building a word and also doing a sound swap. The children would usually have whiteboards to write the words themselves at the end too.

This week, Year 5 have been working extremely hard to complete their published newspaper reports based on our class text 'The Golden Horsemen of Baghdad'. Well done Year 5, they are wonderful!

Another fantastic week for Year 5 writers. This time six of our boys' poems have been chosen to be published in an anthology. The boys wrote their monster poems entirely in their own time. Well done Haris, Mason, William, Harry, Santy and Joshua!

Our topic has been how to protect our planet, and the class has come up with some fantastic ideas about ways we can all help care for the environment after reading our book - Somebody Swallowed Stanley.
