Year 1 have loved working with Belinda our school artist. We explored the work of Paul Klee and tried to draw shapes inspired by him with chalk. Year 1 have settled in to their new classroom very well. They have been building Mr Potato Head to remind us of our rules. In Maths this week, Y5 have been using roman numerals and working on place value with numbers up to 10,000. They have enjoyed using their place value charts to support them with the larger numbers and exchanging. What a wonderful start to the new term!
