Year 3 - Science
Our recent science topic has been looking at the properties of rocks and what makes each rock unique. We have been placing rocks into different groups to help us understand just how different they are. Some have marbling but some don't, some rocks can break down easily but others can't. Some rocks have interesting patterns on them, but some are plain and simple.

YR- Week Commencing 15/6/26
We have started our new topic this week- Under The Sea. We started with our science topic where we investigated sinking and floating. We went outside in the outdoor area to predict whether different objects would float or sink. The children used some fantastic vocabulary to explain their reasoning such as 'dense', 'metal', 'air', 'heavy' and 'light'.

W/C - 11.05.26 - Y1
We have enjoyed identifying a variety of different plants in our local area during our Science lesson this week. We collected data using a tally chart to see which flower was the most popular. The children then compared their results. We found daisies, buttercups, dandelions, snow drops, perennials and crocuses'.
