What a jam-packed week we've had in Year 2!

On Monday, we enjoyed our Creative Curriculum Day. Half of our class visited Aspull Church to join the Year 2 children there, while we welcomed some new friends from their school into our classroom. We all took part in a fun World Cup-themed day, with lots of exciting activities and teamwork.

On Tuesday, we met our new Year 3 teacher. The children were fantastic and really impressed Mrs Parkinson with their excellent behaviour, enthusiasm, and positive attitudes. They are certainly ready for their exciting move to Year 3!

In Spelling, we have been learning about the suffixes -er and -or. We practised identifying and using words with these suffixes and had great fun playing a game of charades to help us remember them.
