This week, Year 2 have had a fantastic start to Summer 2!
In Design and Technology, we researched and planned our own pouches inspired by those used by Neolithic people. We carefully considered our designs and are now ready to make them using joining techniques such as stitching.
We were also treated to a wonderful jazz concert from Wigan Music Service, which helped to ignite our love of music and instruments. The children were excited to learn that, in Year 3, they will have the opportunity to access this service themselves and begin learning a musical instrument.
On Thursday, we enjoyed a beautiful Stay and Pray session. Thank you to all the families who joined us as we celebrated our love for Jesus. Together, we reflected on how Jesus is our light and how He helps each of us to shine brightly in the world.
We are looking forward to another exciting week of learning ahead!
