Reception have been working really hard on developing their throwing and catching skills in PE with Wigan Warriors this week. We worked on skills to throw a ball successfully using an under arm throw and we thought about how we use our bodies to be ready to catch it. We have also had an exciting update on our caterpillars. This week, Reception have started their new topic- Minibeasts. On Wednesday, we enjoyed a trip to the forest where we took part in a minibeast hunt. We found many creatures living in our forest such as: woodlice, spiders, snails and ladybirds. We also had 3 new arrivals to our class this week- Caterpillars! We cannot wait to watch them grow into butterflies.
